Wells' The War of the Worlds, the classic 1953 Byron Haskin science fiction (sci-fi) Martian extraterrestrial alien invasion action thriller ("From the ends of the universe... they are reaching for YOU!"; produced by George Pal; loosely based on the classic novel by H.G. Wells; about seemingly unstoppable aliens invading the Earth) starring Gene Barry, Ann Robinson, Les Tremayne, Robert Cornthwaite, Lewis Martin, and Ann Codee NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds, with tiny bits of paper loss between those two crossfolds. It had minor wear on the other folds. It had some pinholes around the edges and a few within the image. It had a 1/2" tear in the bottom left of the "W" of "War", a matching tear 4" below it in the background area, and two matching tears in the bottom of the image, one in the orange background and one in the background to the left of the girl's waist.
