An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Felix O'Day, the 1920 Robert Thornby silent romantic love triangle murder revenge melodrama ("From the novel by F. Hopkinson Smith"; a wild story of a man whose wife is stolen by another man, who also causes the death of his father, and he spends the rest of the movie tracking the man down; he finally finds him in New York City, where his wife is living in poverty and is very sick, and he fights with the man, and pushes him to his death; he cares for his sick wife, but he falls in love with another woman, and as his wife dies, she tells him to marry the other woman, because he finally deserves happiness) starring H.B. Warner (in the title role as Felix O'Day), Marguerite Snow, Lillian Rich, Ray Ripley, and Karl Formes NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good to very good. There is slight smudging on the glass (it is not very distracting, and it could likely be cleaned), and some of the black tape is missing. Otherwise, the slide is in pretty nice condition!
