Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the bottom crossfold, with some separation on parts of some folds and a few pinholes in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but at some point after it was backed, it acquired light brown stains around the edges of the excess linen, but only a tiny number of them enter the blank borders (see our image).
