An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Jean Muir was an actress from the 1930s to the 1940s. She became a star at Warner Bros. in the mid 1930s, but she also worked on the stage. In the 1940s, she mostly left Hollywood and performed on radio, television, and in the theater, and sadly, she was one of the first actors to be blacklisted under suspicion of having been a communist! In later years, she became a drama teacher at several universities. Some of her movies include: As the Earth Turns, A Dream Comes True, The Constant Nymph, and A Midsummer Night's Dream (as Helena). She passed away in 1996 at the age of 85.

Condition: very good to fine. The still was attached to a mat at one time and there are two small pieces of brown tape on the back of the borders, but they have no effect on the front.
