An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Clint Walker was an actor from the 1950s to the 1990s. His most memorable role was as Samson Posey in The Dirty Dozen, and he starred in TV's "Cheyenne" (as Cheyenne Bodie). Some of his other movies include: The Ten Commandments, Send Me No Flowers, and The White Buffalo. He passed away in 2018 at the age of 90. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Clint Walker! Our consignor ran autograph shows for many years and was an executive director of UACC for many years. He became friendly with many of the stars who appeared at his shows and most of the items from him in this auction are ones where he obtained the autograph in person. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are 100% certain the signature is authentic. Also note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that it WAS printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So it is an original still from , but it was printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
