A Linenbacked Original Vintage French Magazine Page (measures 9 1/2" x 12 3/4" [24 x 32 cm]) (Learn More) La Vie en Culotte Rouge (literally translates to "Life in Red Panties"), the French illustrated weekly humor magazine which was published from 1902 to 1912. The title pokes fun at the red trousers of the French infantry uniform, and the magazine alternates between humorous drawings and ribald stories, both featuring soldiers and partially nude women. Artist: L. Le Riverend Important Added Info: Note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. Also note that this page was removed from a magazine. There is printing on the reverse side of the page, and we may or may not have photographed it. But this page has been linenbacked, and it can be matted or framed for little money and makes a great inexpensive display! Also note that this magazine page is linenbacked, and normally we would send linenbacked items rolled in a tube, but because this is a very small item, and because rolling it might caused it to have creases, we intend to send it in a small flat package instead (however, if the purchaser of this item also purchases other linen posters, and absolutely wants us to send it rolled with those other linens, we will do so).
