An Original Vintage Magazine (measures 4 1/4" x 6" [11 x 15 cm]) (Learn More)

Swagger ("Every Man's Magazine"), one of the many men's magazines of the 1940s and 1950s, which had stories and articles that were supposed to be of interest "to men", but they were mostly interested in the nude and semi-nude pictures contained inside! Once Playboy magazine was published in 1953, magazines like these started doing the best they could to imitate it, trying to have more sophisticated articles, but their main appeal was still their nude photos.
Important Added Info: Note that this great magazine (which we have never auctioned before) has an interior article called "A Model's Day with Betty Page", which includes a wonderful 3-page fold-out of Bettie Page holding a baseball bat and wearing a baseball cap, and solely wearing a baseball jersey, but no pants. It also has five digest-sized pages of images and stories about her, in addition to the back cover, to go along with the centerfold (see our many images). Also note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars.

Condition: good. There are many creases on the covers and on the first couple of interior pages. The Bettie Page centerfold and pages by it are not creased.
