What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The two sections of the poster were taped together and there were yellow tape stains in that area. There were pinholes and tiny paper loss around the edges, and a tear in the cheek and forehead of Hepburn at bottom center, and pinholes, tears, and paper loss to the right of her figure, and some in the bottom right of the credits. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone backed the poster and did virtually no restoration, so all of the above defects are still very evident.
