An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" Movie Still (Learn More)

1,000,000 B.C., the 1940 Hal Roach & Hal Roach Jr. science fiction prehistoric caveman dinosaur fantasy romantic adventure thriller ("Actual living animals of a bygone age recreated and filmed by a new secret process!"; "See the most exciting adventure in a million years!"; "What was love like a million years ago?"; "Greatest Thrills on earth... Wonders Never Before Beheld by Man. The Amazing Spectacle of the World at the Dawn of Time!"; "See: Giant Wooly Mammoths Wreak Havoc... Destruction in Mad Stampede"; produced by Hal Roach & D.W. Griffith) starring Victor Mature, Carole Landis (as "Loana, the Golden One"), Lon Chaney Jr., John Hubbard, and Nigel De Brulier. Note that D.W. Griffith was originally supposed to direct this film but passed the reins to Roach and his son. He then worked as a producer but had his named removed due to a disagreement with Roach.

Important Added Info: Note that on this still there is a printed paper snipe attached to the back describing the scene on the front (it describes the "new secret process" by which the dinosaurs were created and filmed!).
NOTE: In this case, the #1 in the title of the sale is not the number of the still. Because we are selling more than one still from this movie this week as separate eBay sales, we needed to differentiate the different sales, and we did so by marking them "#1, #2, #3, etc..".
Note that this still measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" (but does not appear to be trimmed). Please do not bid on this still thinking it is 8" x 10".
