An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) Twinkletoes, the 1926 Charles Brabin silent England dancing romantic boxing sports melodrama ("Thomas Burke's Classic of Limehouse"; about a poor girl in London who wants to be a dancer, but has no success, and she is about to commit suicide, when a down-and-out prizefighter rescues her and together they try to realize their dreams) starring Colleen Moore (in the title role as Twink 'Twinkletoes' Minasi), Kenneth Harlan, Tully Marshall, Dick Sutherland, and Warner Oland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: fair. The card was stained throughout and there were tears, separated pieces, and paper loss in the borders. Someone glued it to a very thick cardboard, and did the most amateurish of restoration to the border areas and to the white background areas. Please do not bid on this card unless you can accept its substantial staining, its being glued to a board, and its amateur restoration (certainly, a talented restorer could remove the card from the board and properly restore it, but it would require extensive professional restoration).
