An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Monster Maker, the 1944 Sam Newfield mad scientist acromegaly science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller starring J. Carrol Naish, Ralph Morgan, Tala Birell, Wanda McKay, Terry Frost, Ace the Wonder Dog, Glenn Strange, and Ray 'Crash' Corrigan (uncredited as the gorilla monster!). Note that Crash Corrigan made a REALLY wise investment in the 1930s, when he bought a "gorilla suit". In many of the movies in the 1940s where there is a fake gorilla, it is played by Crash Corrigan, no doubt because he could supply the suit! Also note that Ace the Wonder Dog had his first role in 1938's "Blind Alibi" (playing a seeing eye dog). He appeared in 15 movies stretching over 8 years. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this insert, and we have only auctioned a one-sheet and half-sheet poster for this movie (both examples were reconsigned to us) but NO other movie posters for the title whatsoever! Condition: very good. The poster was never folded but it was once lightly and partially folded back horizontally at center and there are some fine creases along portions of that "wave".
