An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Mickey Rooney was a leading child star starting in the 1920s, becoming the top juvenile actor in America in the 1930s, and he continued with a series of movies with Judy Garland in the 1940s. His career spanned every decade, with Rooney working until he passed away in 2014 at the age of 93. Some of his movies include: The Bold & The Brave (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Human Comedy (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Black Stallion (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Breakfast at Tiffany's, Captains Courageous, Babes In Arms (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and National Velvet. He was an American treasure!

Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Mickey Rooney! Note that this item was consigned to us from the family of Ken Jones, who was an author of books about movies (including books about character actors and western stars). In the course of researching his books, he became friends with many Hollywood actors, and he would ask them to autograph stills for him (originals if he had them, or repros if he did not), and they obliged, usually returning the stills to him with a personalized inscription "To Ken". The family does not have a letter of authenticity for this signed item, but we feel certain it is authentic, given Mr. Jones' personal relationship with the star.
