An Autographed 4" x 7" [10 x 18 cm] Cut Stationery Page (Learn More)

Allan Jones was an actor and singer from the 1930s to the 1970s. Some of his best remembered movies include: A Night at the Opera, A Day at the Races, and Show Boat. He was married to actress Irene Hervey and together their son Jack Jones became a very successful singer on TV. Note that there is a wonderful video on YouTube of Allan Jones and his son Jack Jones performing an updated version of the duet, "I Remember It Well", and it is really worth watching! He passed away in 1992 at the age of 84.
Important Added Info: This cut stationery has been personally autographed (signed) by Allan Jones (he wrote "please accept these seats for you and your mother for Saturday afternoon", so obviously he wrapped this around the tickets and put them in an envelope). It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display!

Note that this signed item was consigned to us by a man who worked in the movie business, and who attended many premieres and special Hollywood events. When he would go to them, he would bring repro 8x10s (or other items that he happened to have that were related to stars he knew would be in attendance), and get them autographed in person.

Condition: good to very good.
