An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/8" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) Marlene Dietrich was a very popular German actress and singer from the 1920s through the 1950s! She started in German movies in the 1920s, and then got her big break in Josef von Sternberg's "The Blue Angel", which was made in both a German and an English version. That led to a series of wonderful movies with von Sternberg. Some of her other movies include: Destry Rides Again, Shanghai Express, The Scarlet Empress, A Foreign Affair, Morocco (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Blonde Venus, Touch of Evil, Witness for the Prosecution, and Judgment at Nuremberg. She passed away in 1992 at the age of 90. Condition: good to very good. There are slightly diagonal creases in the right of the still, extending into the right edge of Dietrich's hair and the black background below. There is a tiny area of surface paper loss in the lower right. Other than the above, the still is in pretty nice condition! Note that we show a scan of the front of the still, with a scan of the back of the still beneath it (even if the back is completely blank), so you can see what is on both sides of the still, and also better judge the condition of the still.
