An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 3/4" x 9 1/2" [20 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Barbara Payton was an actress from the 1940s to the 1950s. Some of her movies include: Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye, Trapped, Bad Blonde, Run for the Hills, and Only the Valiant. Sadly, this actress is far more remembered for her off-screen career than for the movies she made! She had affairs with many actors of the time, including 1930s star Franchot Tone, and Tom Neal almost killed Franchot Tone in a real-life fight over her (Tone was in the hospital, and after he got out, he married Payton, but their marriage only lasted seven weeks, after which she returned to Tom Neal)! Not surprisingly, her movie career fizzled out and she sank lower and lower, becoming an alcoholic, and eventually becoming a prostitute in Hollywood, and providing endless tabloid headlines. She passed away in 1967 at the age of 39, and is undoubtedly one of the saddest Hollywood stories.
Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 7 3/4" x 9 1/2" [20 x 24 cm], but it has not been trimmed.
