An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style B One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Party (released in Italy as "Hollywood Party"), the 1968 Blake Edwards Hollywood movie making acting mistaken identity screwball comedy ("If you've ever been to a wilder party - You're Under Arrest!"; about a major Hollywood production that includes an Indian actor, and the producers hire a real film star from India to play the part, but he is terrible, and he is intended to be fired, but he is accidentally invited to a party instead, with very comic results) starring Peter Sellers, Claudine Longet, Jean Carson, Gavin MacLeod, and James Lanphier. Note that it is said that Peter Sellers did not have a script, and that he improvised all of his dialog, and that the other actors had to "follow his lead", which would, of course, be incredibly difficult. There is light rippling and slight discoloration scattered in portions of the poster due to exposure to moisture and there are several other defects (including two stickers placed over the artwork at upper left and to the right of the word "PRODUCTION") that can be clearly seen in our super-sized image.
