In a matter of minutes they robbed a store, fired a few shots and then stole somebody else's car. At that point, they had not yet been introduced."; "They were the strangest damned gang you ever heard of."; "They put together the strangest damned gang you ever heard of."; "Written by David Newman and Robert Benton"; "Clyde was the leader. Important Added Info: Note that we have never seen this really cool packet (or its contents) before! It contains a record containing "lobby spots" in a printed envelope and in its original sleeve. It also contains an acetate "poster" that has adhesive strips at the top and bottom so that you could remove it and attach it to the inside of a car window (when you did so, it said "BONNIE AND CLYDE WAS HERE..." and created faux bullet holes in the window). There is an 18" x 23" poster explaining this acetate and how they would provide up to 25 to each theater (and they warn that you have to tell people to only attach it to side and rear windows, and never the front windshield!). It also has four sheets inside that measure 8 1/2" x 11" and give promotional information about the movie. It is definitely possible that this packet was part of the original presskit, however, the one we have was mailed to a theater owner in Coffeyville, Kansas, and we have the original mailing envelope, which will be included with the auction. Condition: very good to fine. All of the material is in really nice condition, except for the original mailing envelope, which has much wear (but it served its purpose of protecting the contents).
