An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Time Without Pity, the 1957 Joseph Losey English crime murder mystery mistaken identity thriller ("IT started with a young girl's scream..."; based on a play by Emlyn Williams; about a young Englishman who is accused or murdering a girl, and his father tries to prove him innocent, even though the entire town assumes he is guilty) starring Michael Redgrave, Ann Todd, Peter Cushing, Leo McKern, Alex McCowen, Renee Houston and Paul Daneman. Note that director Joseph Losey had been blacklisted in the United States, and this was the first movie in three years on which he was openly credited (and of course, the movie, about an innocent man trying to prove his innocence when everyone assumes he is guilty, has obvious parallels to Losey's experience with being blacklisted).
