This book is a part of a project to trace the 50 year history of post-World War II (WWII) imported films through chirashi posters. Part 1 features films from 1945 to 1969 and every item pictured in this volume is quite rare and can hardly be found. They include all the early James Bond movies, Hitchcock films, John Wayne westerns, Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns, classics with Humphrey Bogart, Hepburn, Chaplin, etc. Chirashi posters from this period are very rare (much rarer than posters of same films).
