If it IS romance! So he ditches his riches and goes looking... Incognito!"; "Darryl F. Zanuck in charge of production"; "Based on a story by Cesare Zavattini and Giaci Mondaini"; about a wacky millionaire who is about to commit suicide, but saves a tramp from committing suicide instead, and then switches clothing with him, spreading the word that he will give a million dollars to the first person who is kind to him, even though he is in tramp clothing, and so people all over that area start treating ALL homeless people with respect, hoping to find the disguised millionaire, and he ends up marrying a circus performer, and donating the money to the entire community) starring Warner Baxter, Marjorie Weaver, Peter Lorre, Jean Hersholt, John Carradine, J. Edward Bromberg, Lynn Bari, and Fritz Feld. Note that this was a nearly exact remake of a 1935 Italian movie by the wonderful Italian writer Cesare Zavattini (who would go on to write The Bicycle Thief [Ladri di biciclette], Miracle in Milan [Miracolo a Milano], and Shoeshine [Sciuscia]). Important Added Info: Note that most of you probably realize that we copy the credits that are written on the movie posters and lobby cards we sell, and that is why we have such excellent descriptions of each movie. Most credits are in fairly large type, but occasionally, studios use rather small type, especially for minor actors or lesser production people. These cards have the distinction of having the absolute tiniest small credits (easily verified if you look at the title box and look at the very bottom where the tiny credits get progressively even tinier!). Condition: good to very good. The card with Carradine and Lorre has a tear at upper center that has been repaired with tape from the back.
