A 1945 Re-release Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) Under Fiesta Stars, the 1941 Frank McDonald singing cowboy western musical ("Original story by Karl Brown") starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, Carol Hughes, Frank Darien, Joe Strauch Jr. (as Tadpole), and Hal Taliaferro. Note that in 1941, the producers had the fun idea of giving sidekick Smiley Burnette (who played "Frog") a youthful sidekick of his own, and they hired young Joe Strauch Jr., who played that part in six of these movies, and naturally, his character was nicknamed "Tadpole"! Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. There is white paint over "A Re-Release" just below the title. There is also a small area of white paint in the upper right blank border. There are minor creases throughout the poster. There are many tack holes in the borders (some extend into the edges of the image). There are several 1 1/4" and smaller tears in the borders (some extend into the edges of the image).
