THX 1138, the 1971 George Lucas science fiction (sci-fi) dystopian future melodrama ("The future is here."; "Visit the future where love is the ultimate crime."; "Story by George Lucas"; "Executive Producer, Francis Ford Coppola") starring Robert Duvall (in the title role as THX 1138), Donald Pleasence, Don Pedro Colley, John Seaton, Johnny Weissmuller Jr., Susan Baldwin, Ian Wolfe, and Maggie McOmie. Note that this was George Lucas' first movie. Some people (including myself) liked it quite a bit, but generally its dark and ultra-depressing theme turned off audiences, and it was not very successful on first release.

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster! We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning. Note also that this British quad measures 28" x 40" [71 x 102 cm]. Also note that this is a teaser British quad (note the complete lack of credits on the poster). Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. There is some slight discoloration along portions of the right edge due to exposure to moisture. The poster has a few creases and smudges along the foldlines and edges and there is some faint red marker writing on the back that slightly bleeds through to the front at lower left.
