An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More) Cowboy Commandos, the 1943 S. Roy Luby World War II (WWII) cowboy western (by 1943, even the western stars joined the war effort in their movies, in this movie The Range Busters uncover a gang of Nazi spies, and save the day!) starring The Range Busters (Ray 'Crash' Corrigan, Dennis Moore, and Max 'Alibi' Terhune), Evelyn Finley, Johnny Bond, Budd Buster, John Merton, and Frank Ellis. Note that we have not seen this movie, but it seems like an odd combination of cowboys and Nazis! If anyone knows more about the exact plot, please e-mail us and we will post it here. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and creases and tiny tears along some foldlines. There were pinholes, creases, smudges, and small areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster.
