An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Belgian Movie Poster (measures 14" x 21 1/2" [36 x 55 cm]) (Learn More)

Les Yeux Sans Visage (released in England in 1960 as "Eyes Without a Face" and in the U.S. in 1962 as "The Horror Chamber of Doctor Faustus"), the 1959 Georges Franju French/Italian medical doctor surgeon horror thriller (based on the book by Jean Redon) starring Pierre Brasseur, Alida Valli (often billed as "Valli"; best remembered as the female lead of The Third Man), Juliette Mayniel, Alexandre Rignault, Beatrice Altariba, Francois Guerin, and Edith Scob (as the girl who is "without a face")

Condition: good to very good. The poster had creases and scuffs along both foldlines with some scuffs to the right of the crossfold. There was an area of paper loss in the girl's red forehead. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above.
