Kelly"; one of those wild "they don't make 'em like this anymore" movies from long ago!; the plot concerns a black woman whose husband was killed by his cruel white employer, and in revenge she kidnaps the white man's daughter and raises her as her own daughter, telling her she is half black; when the girl grows up, she falls in love with a man who hates blacks, and she hides from him that she is half black, and he finds out and is furious, but finally, her "mother" confesses to her that she is actually not black at all, at which point her boyfriend forgives her!) starring Preston Rollow, Mary Doyle, William Anderson, Florence St. Leonard, and Hedda Nova Important Added Info: Note that first release 1917 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a single window card from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There are brown stains on the back of the card that show through to the front in the lower right, in the girl's hand, sleeve, and part of her dress (see our images).
