Some of his movies include: Rhapsody in Blue (as George Gershwin), Imitation of Life, The Beast with Five Fingers, and Cloak and Dagger. He is also the father of actor Alan Alda! He passed away in 1986 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Robert Alda! Note that our consignor purchased this autographed item (together with many others from the estate of the late Gino Emprey, who was a Toronto based agent and event promoter. He was entertainment director of the Royal York Hotel in Toronto for many years, and during that time, he became friendly with many celebrities, and they personally signed items for him, often personalizing them to him.
