Lee family relationship romantic comedy melodrama ("From the famous novel by Kate Douglas Wiggin"; "Kate Douglas Wiggin's famous story"; about a widowed woman and her children who are left penniless when the father dies, and their struggles to survive) starring Anne Shirley, Ruby Keeler, James Ellison, Fay Bainter (in the title role as Mother Carey), Walter Brennan, Frank Albertson, Alma Kruger, and Virginia Weidler. Note that this movie was re-made as "Summer Magic" by Walt Disney in 1963. Also note that RKO wanted Katharine Hepburn to star in this movie, but she wisely refused, and that ended her association with RKO. She was replaced by Ruby Keeler. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some foldlines, with some minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
