If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. Prior to being linenbacked, the poster had been kraftbacked, and it had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds. It had a large snipe glued in the white background area above the girl's hat, and a stamp that entered her hat, and also there was a large stamp in the bottom left corner above the Republic Pictures logo. There was some kind of staining or ink transfer in the white background area below the end of the title. It had pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
