Take your lady to see The Lady Takes a Sailor"; "It's the laughin'est lovin' ever from Warner Bros.!!!"; "MAN THE LAUGH-BOATS!!!"; "From a story by Jerry Gruskin"; "Warner Bros.' Happy New Hit"; "... and then the fun begins!") starring Jane Wyman ("[the lady who took the Oscar!]"; "She's the lady who took the Oscar for 'Johnny Belinda'"), Dennis Morgan, Eve Arden, Robert Douglas, and William Frawley NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that they WERE printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us! So they are original stills from 1949, but they were printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. The still pictured at upper left has an embossed Canadian censor stamp in the upper right corner, but otherwise they are in pretty nice condition.
