An Original 1956 (from the first release of this movie in Poland) Vintage Theatrical Folded Polish Movie Poster (23x33; measures 23 1/2" x 33 3/4" [60 x 86 cm]) (Learn More) Chiens perdus sans collier (released in the U.S. as "The Little Rebels"), the 1955 Jean Delannoy French/Italian troubled-youths-growing-up-in-a-poor-town melodrama (based on the story by Gilbert Cesbron) starring Jean Gabin, Jean-Jacques Delbo, Dora Doll, Robert Dalban, and Jane Marken. Note that this movie is quite similar to the "Dead End" series of Warner Bros. movies of the 1930s and 1940s, and it seems quite likely that director Francois Truffaut both saw and was influenced by this movie before he made his first movie "The 400 Blows"! Artist: Roman Cieslewicz Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. There is an 8" tear in the background right of center and there are some 2" tears around the edges of the poster (repaired with tape from the back). There are light brown stains in the blue border at upper left and lower right. There are areas of writing on the back of the poster that do not appear to have any effect on the front.
