Artist: Jean Mascii Condition: very good. The poster was folded across the middle and there were some creases and fine surface paper loss on that foldline. There was a 1 1/2" tear in the bottom left of the image. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
