An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Allen Jenkins was a character actor from the 1930s to the 1970s. He appeared in dozens of Warner Bros. movies of the 1930s, including many with James Cagney. He moved to MGM in the late 1930s and appeared in many movies there, again often with top stars. He never hit the big time but was in many great movies. Jenkins passed away in 1974 at the age of 74. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Allen Jenkins! Note that this item was consigned to us from the family of Ken Jones, who was an author of books about movies (including books about character actors and western stars). In the course of researching his books, he became friends with many Hollywood actors, and he would ask them to autograph stills for him (originals if he had them, or repros if he did not), and they obliged, usually returning the stills to him with a personalized inscription "To Ken". The family does not have a letter of authenticity for this signed item, but we feel certain it is authentic, given Mr. Jones' personal relationship with the star. Condition: very good.
