If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this movie was originally in 3-D. The studios created both 3D and 2D posters and lobby cards (the 2-D posters and lobby cards were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This insert is from the "2-D" release. In the case of this particular movie, the 3-D posters have a large "J.R. in 3-D" on them, and to fill that space on the 2-D posters, they used the tagline "THAT Picture! THAT Dance! - you've heard so much about!" What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had smudges and scuffs below the top horizontal fold and to the right of Russell's arm. It had a 1" tear in the border in that same area that was repaired with a piece of tape from the back that bled through to the front, and the same was true with a tear in the top border. There was writing on the back of the poster to the right of the word "FRENCH" that slightly bled through to the front. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
