An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Riders of the Purple Sage, the 1925 Lynn Reynolds silent Texas Ranger family relationship cowboy western ("Based on Zane Grey's greatest novel"; about a Texas Ranger whose sister and niece are kidnapped, and he spends the entire movie trying to find them and punish the man who kidnapped them; at the climax, he finds the man, kills him, and runs off with his sister and niece to a secret hidden place) starring Tom Mix and Tony The Wonder Horse, Mabel Ballin, Wilfred Lucas, Beatrice Burnham, Marian Nixon, Warner Oland, Harold Goodwin, and Anne Shirley (in an early uncredited role, likely as "Dawn O'Day"). Note that this was considered Zane Grey's greatest novel. It had been previously filmed in 1918, and was filmed again in 1931 with George O'Brien, and in 1941 with Robert Montgomery!

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned five lobby cards from this movie, and we have never auctioned THIS scene card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. There is a pair of staple holes in the upper right border and some light creases in the right 2" of the card Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
