An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Enchanted Hill, the 1926 Irvin Willat silent romantic love triangle modern day cowboy western melodrama ("Adapted from the novel by Peter B Kyne."; an unusual western set in the then-present day, with cars and other modern inventions, and it includes a scene where star Jack Holt uses a machine gun to trap all his enemies!) starring Jack Holt, Florence Vidor, Noah Berry, Mary Brian, Richard Arlen (in one of his very first roles of any significance!), George Bancroft, and Gary Cooper (uncredited, in one of his many early bit parts). Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that posters from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a six-sheet from this movie (and NO other posters) until we received this one-sheet! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top crossfold and some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
