An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 22") (Learn More)

Girl of the Night, the 1960 Joseph Cates prostitution melodrama ("Her name is Bobbie Williams"; "She's beautiful enough to be a model, chic enough to be a debutante, desirable enough to be a wife - and special enough to be none of these. She has no legal occupation. But she lives on Park Avenue and drips mink. Now you will find out how, where and why."; "Her name is Bobbie Williams. She's just come home from a nightmare. Her kind of life - this kind of shame - are now shown on the screen for the first time - realistically, honestly, excitingly, taken intact from this unique and factual best-seller."; "In New York they're a way of life. You'll see them at all the finest places... They're beautiful and well-dressed. You'd never guess by looking at them."; "You've not seen this before. 'Girl of the Night' a remarkable new movie based on Dr. Harold Greenwald's best seller 'The Call Girl'"; "This book did not come easily to the screen. Its subject matter is admittedly explosive. Its theme is delicate. It is factual and therefore sometimes shocking. But the author, a distinguished psychologist, devoted himself seriously and with high purpose to what is, after all, a truth of life - and the producer of this picture has done likewise. It has been treated with restraint and understanding. All of it is authentic. There has not been a motion picture like it."; "based on the remarkable revelations of the factual best-seller 'The Call Girl' by Dr. Harold Greenwald"; "Based on the Best-Seller 'The Call Girl' by Dr. Harold Greenwald") starring Anne Francis, Lloyd Nolan, Kay Medford, John Kerr, and Arthur Storch

Condition: good. rough folds with lots of creases and scuffs across the top and bottom of the image; discoloration in the top right corner of the card

This window card is in "lesser" condition (it is clearly in less than "very good" condition, and may be all the way down to "fair" condition, as we are selling a collection of early window cards that were found inside of a wall, and those all have water stains and other defects, which should be easily seen on our large images)! This window card has clear defects, which are likely to be very noticeable in our "large" or "super-sized" images that you can click on from our small image at right. In addition, we have also noted in words what these defects are in our "Description of Defects" section above, as some of these defects may not be all that visible in the images. We know that some collectors could accept this window card's defects, and display it as is, and we also know that many collectors would only be happy with this window card if they had it restored, so please do not bid on it unless you can accept it as it is, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored. Of course, you should realize that if you do not bid on this window card because of its condition defects, it may be quite some time before you see this window card offered again!
