Vernye Druz'ya (released in the U.S. as "True Friends"), the 1954 Mikhail Kalatozov Russian satire relationship comedy starring Vasili Merkuryev, Boris Chirkov, Aleksandr Borisov, Aleksei Gribov, and Lilya Gritsenko. Note that this film was made in the aftermath of the death of Joseph Stalin when political control over Soviet cinema relaxed considerably (often known as the Thaw).
