He gave a wonderful performance in "Splendor in the Grass" as Warren Beatty's overbearing father. Some of his other movies include: Shaft, Batman (as Commissioner Gordon), and Hang 'Em High (as Judge Fenton). He was one of those people who looked much older than his age when he was young, but then he barely aged for 30 years. He passed away in 2009 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Pat Hingle! Our consignor obtained this autograph in person when he saw Mr. Hingle perform in Summer Stock, and he obtained this autograph after the show. While he does not have a "certificate of authenticity", we are certain it is authentic.
