She made her debut at the Metropolitan in 1940, and sang on "The American Album of Familiar Music" for at least eight years, where she was called "Nightingale of the Airwaves". She passed away in 2007 at the age of 93. Important Added Info: Note that this postcard has been personally autographed (signed) by Jean Dickenson! Note that this is from a collection we were consigned that all came from a man named Ernest Hack, who wrote to celebrities during the 1930s and 1940s. Most of them are entirely handwritten by the celebrities, and while our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity, we feel certain they are all authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
