On left lower border the poster carries a note saying that it has the approval of the military government of the United States for this region in south-west Germany. Allied-occupied Germany was the administration of Germany from the 1945 defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II until the founding of East and West Germany in 1949. The automotive sector in Baden-Wuerttemberg (Mercedes Benz, Porsche) is historically characterized by a strong supplier industry which includes motor vehicle construction, electrical and mechanical, the metal industry as well as the rubber and plastics industry. Today, every third machine manufactured in Germany (much of which are exported) has its origin in Baden-Wurttemberg and this poster illustrates the beginnings of the post-war reconstruction and the German Wirtschaftswunder (Economic Miracle). Note that Walter Muller co-founded a Stuttgart advertising agency after World War II (WWII), and in 1949 he founded his own agency called "Plan+Form". Artist: Walter Muller Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has tiny pinholes in the blank corners only but is otherwise in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
