Note that this was one of a series of six very popular detective comedies starring a female detective named Hildegarde Withers, who assists a police detective named Oscar Piper. The first movie in the series was "Penguin Pool Murder" in 1932, and Edna May Oliver played her in the first three movies, and then Helen Broderick played her in one, and Zasu Pitts in the final two.
