An Original Vintage 7 1/2" x 9 1/4" News Photo (Learn More)

Natalie Wood was an actress from the 1940s to the 1980s. She is one of the small number of child stars who successfully transitioned to both adolescent roles and leading actress roles. Some of her movies include: Love With The Proper Stranger (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), West Side Story, The Searchers, Rebel Without A Cause (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Miracle on 34th Street, The Great Race, and Splendor In The Grass (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film). Tragically, she died under suspicious circumstances in 1981 in a drowning incident. She was 43 years old.
Important Added Info: Note that there is a printed snipe on the back of the still, describing the scene on the front (note that the caption on the back says, "How to shoot pool with a girl -- (4) Concentration is reflected in her face as she draws back the cue, aims and fires."; it does not identify the girl in any way, but I find it hard to believe it could be anyone but Natalie Wood!). Also note that this still measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/4" (but does not appear to be trimmed). Please do not bid on this still thinking it is 8" x 10".

Condition: very good. see below for why we don't describe the defects of this item in words
