An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Born Reckless, the 1930 John Ford World War I (WWI) crime melodrama ("Fox Movietone Drama of Gangland"; "From the novel 'Louis Beretti' by Donald Henderson Clarke"; about a gangster who is caught and a judge gives him a chance to join the military instead of prison; he does so and becomes a hero, but after he resumes his gangster life, and he has adventures and romance, but all works out in the end; the movie spans around a dozen years, and is an odd mixture between a war movie and a gangster movie) starring Edmund Lowe ("as Louis Beretti"), Catherine Dale Owen, Lee Tracy, Marguerite Churchill, Warren Hymer, William Harrigan, Frank Albertson, and Yola d'Avril. Note that John Ford was the primary director of this movie, but Andrew Bennison was the "dialog director", which was a fairly common additional function in early sound movies.

Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned three window cards, a scene lobby card, a herald, a glass slide, and a few stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this second scene lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. The card has slightly darkened. There are creases, tiny tears, and paper loss in the top right corner, and someone put a piece of tape on the back of the tears. Please look at our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this card.
