An Original Vintage German Film Program (measures 8 3/4" x 11 1/2" [22 x 29 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More) Vampyr - Der Traum des Allan Grey (commonly referred to simply as "Vampyr"; apparently released in English-speaking countries under a variety of titles such as "The Strange Adventure of David Gray", "Not Against The Flesh", but we have never seen any first release material with any of those titles!), the classic 1932 Carl Theodor Dreyer French/German vampire fantasy horror (based on the novel 'Carmilla' by Sheridan le Fanu; about a man who goes to a castle and initially scoffs at the local people's stories of an old female vampire, but eventually, he becomes a believer) starring Julian West (in the title role as Allan Grey), Maurice Schutz, Rena Mandel, Sybille Schmitz, Jan Hieronimko, Henriette Gerard (as the aged female vampire), Albert Bras, N. Babanini, and Jane Mora. Note that this is one of the most difficult classic horror titles to find any movie paper from, especially country of origin! Important Added Info: Note that over the years, we have auctioned three examples of this program from this classic vampire movie that you can't find any movie paper from. The last one was 4 years ago, and it auctioned for $333! Condition: good to very good. The program was twice folded in half horizontally, resulting in three evenly spaced horizontal folds. There is a tiny stain in the upper left of the cover, and some slightly diagonal horizontal lines in the upper left that appear to be a minor printing defect (see our images).
