As he sneaked toward her a great bear rose, roaring, from the chasm in the rocks and the girl hid behind it."; "Never have you seen a film like 'Back to God's Country'"; "Adapted from the story 'Wapi, the Walrus' by James Oliver Curwood"; set in the Canadian North country; a man kills the man who attacks his daughter, but later, another man threatens to expose his past) starring Nell Shipman, Charles Arling, Wheeler Oakman, Wellington A. Playter, and Ronald Byram. Note that this movie was remade in 1927, and it was remade again in 1953.
