Moore science fiction (sci-fi) fantasy adventure horror thriller ("The stars of 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' are back...") starring Edwin Neal ("as 'Splatter'"), Marilyn Burns, Gabriel Folse, Wade Reese, and Barton Faulks. Note that the producers of the movie hired classic fantasy artist H.R. Giger to create a striking one-sheet poster for this movie, and it certainly helped to gain more viewers for the movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: H. R. Giger Important Added Info: Note that this is a very rare uncut printer's test (see below for what that means)! A man connected with the production of this movie arranged for Giger to sign a limited edition version of the artwork he created for the one-sheet poster. Before the limited edition was created, this printer's test was sent to this man for his approval, and afterward, the limited edition of 1,000 posters was created (those limited edition posters were signed and numbered by Giger, but this printer's test was not). What is a printer's test? Before a poster was printed in large quantities, the printer would print a limited number of posters as "test" posters. Commonly, they would leave the color chart on the left edge of the poster, which added an extra inch to the width of the poster (which explains why the poster measures 35" x 46"). These printer's tests would then be shown to the various people in a position to "OK" them, and once they were completely approved, the printer would print the full print run of the posters. Not only is a printer's test far more rare than a regular poster, but it is also 100% genuine, there is no fear of purchasing a reproduction! Condition: very good to fine.
