An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28") (Learn More)

John Hersey's A Bell For Adano, the 1945 Henry King World War II (WWII) Italy military melodrama ("Based on the novel by John Hersey"; "The great novel of today becomes the great picture of our time!"; set in Italy after the end of the war there; American troops want to restore order to a small town, and one of the ways of doing that is replacing the bell that helps people order their life) starring Gene Tierney, John Hodiak, William Bendix, Glenn Langan, Richard Conte, Stanley Prager, Harry Morgan (billed as "Henry Morgan"), Montague Banks, Reed Hadley, and Roy Roberts

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. There were a few creases and scuffs scattered in the image. There were creases, small stains, tears, and tiny paper loss around the edges of the poster and there was a 7" tear in the middle of the left of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did virtually no restoration.
