However, you can buy the auction catalog it appears in using the "Order" button above. An Original Vintage Paperbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More) Thicker Than Water, the 1935 James W. Horne comedy short starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), Daphne Pollard, and James Finlayson. Daphne Pollard was born in 1891 in Australia, and never grew to more than 5 feet tall, and as a child, she was part of the "Pollard Lilliputian Opera Company". Her family moved to Los Angeles in 1907 and she was in vaudeville for a year, and then appeared on Broadway. When sound movies began, she moved to Hollywood and she signed with Mack Sennett, but then switched to Hal Roach, where she appeared in a number of his movies including ones with Laurel and Hardy. She only made a few movies after 1936, and was mostly on Broadway. She passed away in 1978 at the age of 86. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
