An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Woman Next Door, the 1919 Robert G. Vignola silent romantic unhappy marriage murder crime melodrama ("By Carolyn Wells"; about the wife of a rich man who is unhappy, and she leads a double life, sneaking out and having a good time, but then her husband is found murdered and her alter ego is the number one suspect!) starring Ethel Clayton, Emory Johnson, Noah Beery Sr., Jane Wolfe, and Katherine Griffith. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the movie is called "Vicky Van" on the this glass slide, which was the working title for this movie! Also note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine.
