The Little Colonel, the 1935 David Butler Civil War era juvenile family melodrama ("Hail to the Conqueror of 10 Million Hearts"; "Two great stars together!"; "Based on the story by Anne Fellows Johnson") starring Shirley Temple, Lionel Barrymore, Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson, Evelyn Venable, Geneva Williams, Hattie McDaniel, and Robert Warwick. Note that this is one of the best remembered of Shirley Temple's movies, and it includes the classic sequence of little Shirley dancing on a flight of stairs with Bill Robinson!
